Uttarkashi is a revered Hindu pilgrimage town in the Garhwal Himalayas. Known as Devbhoomi (Land of Gods), it is home to many temples, including Vishwanath Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, and Shakti Temple, famous for its massive trident (Trishul).
