Kaliyar Sharif

Kaliyar Sharif is the mausoleum of Hazrat Alauddin Ali Ahmed Sabir, a 13th-century Sufi saint from the Chishti order. Known for his deep devotion and spiritual teachings, Sabir Piya played a crucial role in spreading Sufism in the region. His dargah is visited by people of all religions, reinforcing the message of unity, love, and harmony.

The dargah is an architectural masterpiece, adorned with intricate carvings and Islamic calligraphy. The ambiance is filled with the fragrance of incense, the sound of qawwalis, and the sight of devotees offering chadars (sacred cloths) and flowers. People believe that prayers at this shrine can fulfill wishes and bring peace to their lives.

One of the most prominent events held here is the Urs festival, which commemorates the death anniversary of the saint. This grand event sees thousands of devotees participating in qawwali nights, spiritual discourses, and communal feasts.
