Triveni Ghat

Triveni Ghat is the largest and most important bathing ghat in Rishikesh, known for its deep spiritual significance and serene surroundings. Pilgrims gather here to take a holy dip in the Ganges, believing it to cleanse sins and bring salvation. The ghat is lively throughout the day, with priests performing pujas, devotees offering prayers, and the sound of temple bells creating a divine atmosphere.

One of the most mesmerizing experiences at Triveni Ghat is the evening Ganga Aarti, known as "Maha Aarti." Hundreds of devotees and tourists participate, holding oil lamps (diyas) and singing hymns dedicated to Ganga Maiya. The sight of thousands of floating diyas on the river, combined with the rhythmic chanting of mantras and devotional music, makes it a soul-stirring experience.

The ghat also features temples dedicated to Lord Vishnu, Krishna, and Shiva, where devotees offer flowers, diyas, and milk to the river. Morning and evening bhajans (devotional songs) and yoga sessions further add to the spiritual charm of the place.
