Khaliya Top

Khaliya Top is a stunning alpine meadow situated at an altitude of approximately 3,500 meters (11,500 feet) above sea level in the Pithoragarh district of Uttarakhand. It is one of the most scenic trekking destinations in the Kumaon region, offering spectacular views of snow-clad Himalayan peaks, including Panchachuli, Rajrambha, Hardeol, and Nanda Kot.

The trek to Khaliya Top begins from Balati Bend, about 9 km from Munsiyari, and covers a 5-6 km uphill trail through dense forests of oak, rhododendron, and deodar trees. During winter, the meadow is covered in a thick blanket of snow, making it a paradise for snow trekking and camping. In summer, it transforms into a lush green paradise with blooming wildflowers.
