Panna Meena ka Kund

Panna Meena Ka Kund is an architectural gem and one of the most well-preserved stepwells in Rajasthan, located near Amer Fort. Built in the 16th century, this eight-story stepwell features precisely symmetrical staircases, arched niches, and intricate geometric patterns, showcasing the brilliance of ancient water conservation techniques. Originally constructed as a community water reservoir, it served as a place for locals to collect water, socialize, and seek refuge from the scorching heat.
