Banasur Fort

Banasur Fort is one of the lesser-explored historical sites in Uttarakhand, believed to be associated with Banasura, the powerful son of Asura King Bali, who was ultimately defeated by Lord Krishna. The fort is now in ruins, but its location provides a majestic view of the Kali Kumaon region.

Surrounded by lush green forests and rolling hills, the fort serves as a great trekking and photography spot.
